Lisenskurs | 19-20th of March

Copernica welcomes you to a seminar covering the ins and outs of working in a norwegian hospital for the first time. The seminar will superficially cover the most important topics in various subjects ranging from prescriptions to rules and regulations.

As this concerns only norwegian-speaking students the rest of this information will be in norwegian. Apologies to those to whom the invitation does not apply.

Introduksjon

  • Dokumentasjon (Resepter, journaler, epikriser, dødsattester, sykemeldinger, mm.)

Copernica

Copernicam

For many years, rumours of a film festival have been whispered in the halls at UJ. It was a myth we all waited for, but only the selected few saw coming. This year myth turns into reality as Copernica is hosting Copernicam, the most extravagant short film festival in the history of mankind. Forget Cannes, forget the Oscars, forget Bollywood, Copernicam is what everyone is talking about. On November 20. Leo will be there, Julia Roberts will be there, Alexander Rybak will be there… Will YOU?

Seeing that we are all homo universalis, or renaissance (wo)men, a task as simple as making a short film is no obstacle for most of us. We therefore urge all of you enthusiastic medical students to team up, write a script, get a cam and shoot a short. The criterias are simple. The film must not exceed 5 min, it must be medically related and must have at least one student in front of the cam. Now we know most of us are very creative, but exceptionally lazy, so we have created a carrot. The winners of the best film will receive a prize of 1000 zl, which will be payed in copper groszys. Many other awards will be revealed at the award show…

Copernicam is for everyone and by everyone, and we want as many as possible to make their own contribution for the festival.  The location for the premiere is still secret, but we guarantee that it (and the A-class party afterwards) will be absolutely fabulous. So send your smoking for dry cleaning and brush up on your cocktail party manners…

We invite you to an information/encouragement meeting at Larzaza on Sunday 18th October at 17:00. Here we will give you the advice and information that you may need to get started. We’re also glad to receive notes of interest or curiosity by mail (copernica@copernica.no) or by way of a facebook message.

Please let us know if you can make a resource contribution like editing, scripting, or filming; or just want to be hooked up with a project!

• Production starts: Now.

• STARTUP meeting: 18th oct, 1700.

• Deadline: 15th Nov.

• Premiere night and award show: 20th Nov 2009.
